all of this was about $135. this seems super expensive for one grocery trip, but i had to remind myself that i'm not going to be buying a $20 thing of protein powder and a $13 thing of raw cacao every time i go grocery shopping. a lot of this stuff was an investment of sorts. we're starting from the bottom up, so we had to get a lot to build a foundation. we also don't need that many grains and seeds etc every single time, those will last us forever. i think that after this, most grocery trips will probably be around $50, and we can probably stagger it to every other week (aka payday). if not, we can buy veggies etc at the farmer's market in between...fuck yeah bein healthy!

PCC!

grains and seeds and stuff! we got sunflower seeds, chia seeds, amaranth, quinoa, and lentils.

the least healthy stuff we bought.

drinks and cheese. i recently discovered my love for blueberry juice.

many yogurts! the skyr is my favorite but it's so expensive. brown cow maple yogurt is the best, d's sister introduced us to it. the coconut milk kind is more of a treat than yogurt. it's pretty sweet but it still has all the probiotics.

peanut butter, peas, avocados, bananas, vegan rice protein powder, grains, pasta pockets, cayenne, bee pollen, raw cacao powder, and strawberries.

and then we made a smoothie out of this stuff! it was very delicious. smoothies are a staple.
also, today i got the best mug ever at value village.
