am i allowed to do a product review kinda thing here? i get asked about face/skin stuff pretty regularly over at cardamine/whatever. i finally found something that works and is cute and i really like it.
I was looking for a good exfoliating face brush for a long time. I don't need anything as fancy as a Clarisonic thing, and my price range was basically $10 or less. I kind of underestimated exfoliation but for some reason I bought this and I love it. It really makes you feel clean. this is the exact one i have.
super sensitive skin plus tons of cystic acne sucks. it'ts not terribly visible but i get huge breakouts that hurt really bad. chemical-y stuff seems to make it worse; right before i found this soap i had a bad experience with retin-a and my entire face was peeling off. lush stuff is ok, coalface is too harsh, angels on bare skin is too soft sometimes.
when i was hanging out in logan, utah, we parked ourselves at a coffee shop right down the street from the spirit goat. it's a teeny tiny cute locally owned soap shop. the owner makes all the soap right in the front of the store. i'm a lil bit addicted to soap and wanted a souvenir, so i bought the facial bar. for $2.50!!!!!!! so cheap. and i love it. it makes my face feel clean but not dry. it doesn't smell strong like lush products, but it's not totally scentless like african black soap.
i think the real reason i am so excited about this is that the round bristles on the brush are the EXACT SAME size and shape of the facial bar. i'm going to look at value village for a cute little dish to put my soap and brush on.
okay i'm done geeking out about soap and brushes. if you're ever in logan check out this cute lil shop!
